Increased terror threat in Switzerland
Swiss intelligence services are warning of an increased likelihood of a terrorist attack in the country due to Turkish military action against Kurds in Syria.
A spokeswoman for the Federal Intelligence Service says there could be attacks on Turkish and Kurdish businesses and organisations.
Also at risk are mosques which have a congregation made up of either group.
Last week 15,000 Kurds demonstrated in Zurich – one of the largest gatherings in years. The crowd chanted Erdogan Murderers, referencing the Turkish president.
The intelligence services says there are active groups in the country linked with the Kurdish separatist movement the PKK.
