Three dead on mountains this weekend
A 57 year old skier crashed to his death on Saturday. The man fell more than 200 meters from the Mutteristock in canton Glarus.
The alarm was raised by his companions – police say he died immediately.
In another incident on the Alt St Johann peak in Sankt Gallen, two men walking with snow shoes fell 400 meters on Saturday afternoon. The accident was spotted by a group of skiers nearby.
The bodies weren’t found until yesterday.
The 38 and 28 year old men have been identified as living In Zurich. One was a Swiss national and the other German.
