Geneva winds bring down trees and scaffolding
Strong winds around Geneva last night has brought down trees and damaged scaffolding.
Several cars and buildings were hit by falling trees.
There were gusts of wind up to 90kph. The storm started at about 6 o’clock yesterday evening.
Geneva emergency services were called out more than 50 times. Work had to be carried out to secure scaffolding on a building site in the middle of the city.
There are no reports of injuries.
