A total of 10 people have been arrested in a joint anti-terror operation between France and Switzerland.

9 have been arrested in France and one in Switzerland. Several homes have also been searched on both sides of the border.

The arrests were in Provence in southern France and around Paris. Raids were carried in in Switzerland in Vaud and Neuchatel.

The suspect arrested in Switzerland is a 23 year old woman.

French officials say the suspects were communicating on social media about carrying out violent acts. But the police don’t think the plans were well developed.
