Genevans get lessons on how to use trams by the Queen
Geneva public transport users are getting lessons on how to be polite - by the Queen of England.
Then city’s ‘respect’ campaign is designed to make people think how their actions in public affect others.
Yesterday, actors dressed as the Queen and members of the household guard, were teaching commuters to let passengers out of trams first before boarding.
A practice common in London.
A spokeswoman for the campaign says the British have a reputation for respecting others on public transport and they hope to teach Genevans the same.
