New offences unveiled in Lausanne
The city of Lausanne is clamping down on unsocial behaviour with a series of new finable offences. From next month anyone caught relieving themselves in public could be fined CHF 200 and spitting will cost you CHF 100.
Dog owners have to be careful, not picking up dog mess will cost you CHF 150.
Dog are also banned from cemeteries. Anyone taking their pet into a graveyard will have to pay CHF 70.
The new rules come into force next month – but authorities will allow a grace period until December.
