National News // Sept. 26, 2017

A company which packages air taken from the Alps is to expand. Swiss Air – not the old airline – sucks alpine air into cans and sells it in China.

The company says its customers enjoy the fresh air as an escape from the pollution.

Now it will start selling the cans in India – another country plagued by pollution. The cans come with a handy face mask and allow the user several deep breaths of clean, fresh alpine air.

The Zug based firm was only set up last year and the initial idea was to sell the cans as a quirky souvenir but were surprised at the international interest.
