New phone booths aim to cut teen suicide
New phone booths have been installed near the Parc des Bastions in Geneva in an effort to cut the rate of teen suicide.
Suicide is the leading cause of death in Switzerland for those aged between 15 and 29.
The cabins offer the chance to hear from people affected by suicide, from young people in distress, parents, and professionals.
They’ve been decorated by local artists to make them attractive and accessible.
The project is being jointly run by the campaign group Happy City Lab and the cantonal hospital.
