German police track down Swiss road racers
German police have asked their Swiss counterparts to track down several cars suspected to racing illegally on the autobahn.

The race took place on the A81 in Baden-Württemberg and it’s thought there were at least 20 cars involved – four were Swiss registered, but there could have been more.
Although illegal races are common on the German unrestricted autobahns, police say this one was particularly big. It’s rare to have more than 10 cars involved – certainly not 20.
German roads near the Swiss border are attractive to racers as many of them don’t have a speed limit so there are not police checks very often.
