Federal Policed check for Swiss links following Spain attack
The Federal Police Office is checking to see if any of the suspected jihadists involved with the attacks in Spain have a link with Switzerland.
It’s thought at least one of the members of the cell thought to be involved in the planning stayed in Zurich at the end of last year. Catalan police say it could be two members.
The two under suspicion of having a Swiss link are both from Morocco – one of them was killed in the attack.
A Federal Police spokeswoman confirmed to the Tages-Anzeiger they’re working with Spanish authorities.
