Ariana Grande fans turn up - despite cancellation
About 60 Ariana Grande fans turned up at the Hallenstadion in Zurich yesterday – despite the American pop star cancelling her planned concert.
The fans said they wanted to show their support for the victims of the bombing at the Manchester Arena.
The bombing took place immediately after an Ariana Grande concert in the English city. Grande joined other stars on stage in Manchester over the weekend as part of a benefit show. She was on stage with Robbie Williams, Take That, Chris Martin and Liam Gallagher.
Yesterday’s planned Zurich gig would have been the first Swiss performance by Grande – her last European tour skipped Switzerland.
