Rush hour is now an hour earlier and in many areas, dawn in breaking when commuters are out on the roads. This is the time many animals are returning to the forest for shelter.

Authorities say there have been more collisions with deer especially. Many don’t survive a collision with a car.

The law says if you hit a wild animal you are supposed to stop and call the police. Not doing so is an offence.
