Empty car plummets down hill in Graübunden
A motorist and several bystanders had a narrow escape after a driverless car rolled down several hills, across a road and pavement before being stropped by a crash barrier.
The car’s owner in the village of Savognin in canton Graubunden parked up – and forget to set the handbrake. A nasty mistake in a mountain village.
The car trundled off by itself, across a meadow, before plummeting down a hill – destroying fences and road signs. It ended up on its roof wedged under a barrier. No one was hurt.
The car is a write off.
