Gambian minister faces new brutality allegations
The former Gambian interior minister, currently being held in Switzerland and being investigated for crimes against humanity, is facing further claims of his brutality.
Ousman Sonko had originally applied for asylum in Switzerland – but now he’s being criminally investigated.
A former Gambian foreign minister told Swiss television that Sonko was a ‘killing machine’ and says he has evidence of him leading assassinations and mass murders.
Sidi Saneh also claims Sonko stole international aid money.
Sonko was for many years the right hand man of the now deposed dictator Yaya Jammeh.
