Police investigate possible aircraft sabotage at Geneva airport
Police are investigating a possible case of sabotage on a Swiss International Airlines aircraft as it was due to leave from Geneva airport on Tuesday.
The pilot on the Munich bound flight was beginning departure preparations when an alert sounded of a fall in hydraulic pressure linked to the undercarriage.
An investigation showed two pipes were disconnected as well as some adhesive strips across access panels had been broken.
The alert triggered a police and bomb squad appearance – as well as a prosecutor.
