S3 Former head of Swiss space company charged

Last August Pascal Jaussi told police he had been forced to drive his car to a forest in canton Fribourg where he was attacked, sprayed with petrol and set alight.

He was found with cuts, severe burns and his car burnt out.

Police now suspect he staged the attack and lied to justice authorities.

A month after the alleged attack Jaussi admitted the company was in financial trouble and was being investigated for money laundering. The firm is facing several lawsuits demanding a total of CHF 7m.

The company hoped to enter the satellite launching business and offer zero gravity flights.
