No prosecutions after Patrouille Suisse crash
A Dutch investigation into the crash of Swiss Patrouille plane in June in the Netherlands has ended, with the conclusion that there is no reason to prosecute anyone.
Tobias Kühne, spokesman of Swiss Military Justice, says they will continue to investigate the causes of the accident during a training flight for an air show in Leeuwarden.
Two F-5 Tiger aircraft collided, with one landing in a pond after the pilot was ejected. He ended up in a greenhouse with a broken foot and some minor cuts and bruising.
The other plane was able to land safely with its pilot unhurt.
This accident was the first that the Patrouille Suisse has experienced since its inception 52 years ago.
