Rescue operation launched after woman bathes naked in the Rhône
A helicopter, a boat and several patrol cars were called out yesterday evening in search of a women who was spotted swimming naked in the Rhone river.
Geneva police launched the rescue operation after 6pm at the Butin bridge, report 24 Heures.
With temperatures at around 10 degrees rescuers “feared the worst”,
But the naked bather eluded them after being spotted in the river near Jonction but then climbing onto the bank and disappearing.
The operation was called off at 6.30pm, with police and SIS officers calling the woman “irresponsible” for her actions.
