Farmer could face cruelty charges after cows starve
A dairy farmer in Canton Valais is likely to face charges of animal cruelty after 2 cows were left to die of starvation.
The farmer is thought to have left the animals in a barn.
The carcasses were discovered two weeks ago, but were only flown to the canton's vet office last Friday for an autopsy.
Animal welfare groups are demanding the farmer face charges.
