Geneva students thrown out of flats for refugees
A group of Geneva students have failed to persuade government officials to reverse a decision to hand over their rented flat to refugees.
The students, who say they were promised that their rental contracts would last until 2020, will now take their case to the State Council.
At a meeting with officials, the students were given a six-month stay of execution.
They will now move out in June rather than the end of December.
Last Thursday, the students held a demonstration in Geneva to protest at the eviction.
