Berlusconi linked accounts released
Switzerland has unfrozen the accounts of two people found innocent of money laundering in connection with a firm owned by Silvio Berlusconi.
The Swiss attorney general's office released around $140 million to two individuals cleared of being part of a scheme involving illegal film rights and offshore funds.
A court in Rome found that Berlusconi's son and the chairman of his media conglomerate Mediaset were innocent of involvement in money laundering.
Their funds were among a number of accounts blocked by Swiss banks after the Milan prosecutor's office first sought help with the case 20 years ago.
