Lausanne train buffet to go veggie
Only vegetarian food will be on the menu at the train station buffet in Lausanne when a new restaurant takes up residence in 2018.
The Tibits vegetarian and vegan chain already has several restaurants in German-speaking parts of Switzerland and one in London. It's expected to keep the traditional décor of the last buffet at the train station, which was closed in January.
Tibits will be offering ready-to-eat food in the West Wing of the station, which is being renovated at a cost of CHF 20 million. Work is due to finish on the refit in autumn 2018.
