Ski pass prices won't rise this season

Ski pass prices won't rise this season

There's good news for winter sports fans, as 70 per cent of Swiss cable car companies aren't planning on increasing the price of their fares this winter.

In recent months, several companies invested between 300 and 500 million francs in their facilities, such as snowmaking and catering establishments.

But only a small amount of this investment has been handed down to clients, with the ticket price for one day and six-day passes increasing by only 0.6% over the last year.

Online tickets will continue to vary in price depending on the day and major destinations will offer special conditions for families, young and seniors.
