Police say no terrorist motive to a knife attack on Swiss train
Police say, as yet, there is no political or terrorist motive to a knife attack on a Swiss train on Saturday where two people, including the 27-year-old attacker, died.
A 34-year-old woman died in hospital on Sunday.
Five other people were hurt when the man set fire to the train and stabbed passengers as it approached Salez station, between the towns of Buchs and Sennwald at around 14:20.
Two of the victims, including a six-year-old child, are in serious condition.
The seventh injured person was a man on the platform who pulled the burning attacker off the train.
St Gallen cantonal police have searched the attacker's home in a canton adjoining St Gallen and say on the basis of video evidence, he acted alone.
The town is less than a kilometre from the border with Liechtenstein.
Forensic experts are analysing the flammable liquid and the scene of the crime.
