Pokémon Go hunters from Aargauer call for power sockets outside village church
A group of Pokémon Go hunters from Aargauer are calling for power sockets outside the village church so they can keep playing without their phones running out of battery.
32-year-old Matthias Steger told the Blick that he regularly meets friends in Birr village square to play the smart phone game and it would make their lives much easier.
However, Aargauer police say they've had four calls over the last few days reporting "suspicious characters" appearing around the village.
They've made an appeal on Facebook for gamers to use their common sense and be considerate of non-gamers by keeping off private property, being quiet after 8pm and throwing rubbish away properly.
Steger, who organises the meets via a Whatsapp group admits that at first they did leave a lot of cigarette butts lying around.
But he's since organised ashtrays and garbage bags at the site, in the hope that electricity will be provided for them.
