A Geneva Tech Start-up is looking for a highly motivated and organized Financial Assistant and Office Manager to help keep the books for both our US and Swiss companies and keep the Geneva office running smoothly! We envisage this is a 40 – 50% part-time role.
Please note: SWISS or Frontalier WORK PERMIT REQUIRED
Key Responsibilities :
• Make payments (A/P) in our on-line banking system
• Prepare US monthly close in Quickbooks (QBO)
• Prepare Financials for monthly Board Report
• Reconcile Swiss Credit card statement
• Reconcile Petty cash account
• Expense report review /Approval and payment
• Invoicing sales
• Supervise US & Swiss Outsourced Payroll providers
• Prepare Swiss & US employee on-boarding (badges, payroll)
• Get mail, scan and file documents
• Organize travel (Flights/hotels) for team as needed
• Organize Birthday lunches/Swiss team events
• Office management (buy supplies, water plants, post office, etc)

Specific Requirements:
• Highly analytical with attention to detail
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Good understanding of the Google Docs suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at any time, while maintaining high standards of work on a tight schedule in a fast-paced environment
• Proven organizational and time management skills with ability to work autonomously
• Proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong sense of urgency
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years Bookkeeping experience
• Quickbooks experience strongly preferred
• Fluent English required, French would be an asset
