WRS visits 'Byron is Back!' exhibition at the Château de Chillon
On the 26 June 1816 Lord Byron visited Château de Chillon near Montreux and was so struck with the castle that he wrote one of his most important poems - The Prisoner of Chillon.

Byron spent 5 months in Switzerland from 20 May to 10 October and to commemorate the 200th anniversary his visit the Château de Chillon has been holding a temporary exhibition, to pay homage to the man who was as much a star to his generation as David Bowie was to ours.
Katy Dartford took a tour around the 'Byron is back!' exhibition that runs until 21 August:.
