Vote to get Lego to make the LHC!
LEGO LHC needs your vote!
After a two year hiatus, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN will be starting-up again later this month.
The next series of experiments will take up to three years and the first particle collisions are expected in May.
Nathan Readioff is one of the physicists who will be working on the Atlas experiment. He describes his job as the best thing he has ever done.
In his spare time, Nathan has created a Lego replica of the LHC and submitted it to Lego Ideas. If Nathan secures 10,000 votes, Lego will consider creating a commercial version of his prototype.
Tony spoke with Nathan on Drivetime. Before the interview, he had 2,000 votes and afterwards the number jumped to 2,500 votes!
We're getting behind his LHC lego Idea here at WRS and encourage you to vote as well - www.ideas.lego.com
Have a listen to Nathan telling us what it's all about...
