Matali Crasset's approach to design
The IKEA Democratic Design Day looks to explore questions on how we will live in the future; the design of spaces and products and how design will affect our home and our everyday life. This event is looking at the future of what living at home will look like, inviting a selection of designers, architects and sociologists to reflect on this.
Matali Crasset is a French star industrial designer. She sees design as a quest. Matali works from an eccentric stance and is one of the most incisive and experimental designers of our time. She spoke to us to talk about her process and her work with IKEA so far.
