Jennifer Larmore swaps opera for Broadway in Megève

Jennifer Larmore was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She made her professional operatic debut in the 80s at the Opera de Nice and has worked internationally since and played an extensive list of operatic leads. In 1996 she sung in at the Olympics Closing Ceremony in her hometown of Atlanta. In 2012, she sung Lady Macbeth in Verdi's Macbeth at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.

Jennifer Larmore switches up opera for Broadway at the Megève Festival on Saturday 25th August 2018.

We spoke to Jennifer about the technical differences behind singing the two.

The Megève Festival Savoy Truffle is a festival of jazz, classical and pop music, as well as literature, films, theatre and debates. The 2018 edition takes place between the 17th - 2nd September 2018.
