Dig It! Jardin Botanique de Genève (23 April 2018)
This week Dig It is taking a trip to the Botanic Gardens of Geneva, and Patrick Bungener, one of the researchers for a new exhibition, tells us all about the life of Augustin Pyramus de Candolle, one of the greatest botanists of the 18th and 19th century, who founded the Botanical Garden in Geneva. There's a new exhibition about de Candolle in the garden, so why not take the opportunity to go and visit? There is also an excellent Botanical walk you can follow, right in the city centre, and go and see the site of the original Botanical garden at the Parc des Bastions, and de Candolle's house.
