Deal on predators finally reached...in theory
It’s a story that began badly, but may yet have a happy ending. A tale of how hunters, farmers and environmental groups allowed the lynx, the bear and above all the wolf to return to the wilds of Switzerland. For years the different interest groups wouldn’t even talk to one another. But efforts have been intensified in recent times, and just yesterday, they announced their first big breakthrough: a pilot project. Here’s WRS’s Lucas Chambers with a unique look at the story:
