Zurich study supports theory of man-made climate change
One argument of global warming skeptics is that changes in global temperatures arise from influences other than man-made greenhouse gas emissions, like changes in solar radiation. Well, new research from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) suggests that of the measured increases in temperature already felt this century, the major influence has indeed been those gases industrial society has made. WRS’s Pete Forster speaks to Professor Reto Knutti of the Atmospheric and Climate Institute at the ETHZ about his research and begins by asking how much temperatures have increased in the last 50 years:
