VW Golf outsold as top car for first time in decades
For the first time in decades, the Volkswagen Golf is not the best-selling car in Switzerland. According to Auto Suisse, last month the VW Golf was beaten out by the Subaru XV. Apart from a couple times in the 1980s when Opel and Mercedes had a run at the Golf, it has mostly dominated the Swiss market. WRS’s Alex Helmick speaks to Matt Gasnier, who runs BestSellingCarsBlog.com, about what consumers in this country tend to look for in a good car:
