International stars glide in for Swiss disc golf open
The Disc Golf Swiss Open took place this weekend in Onex, just outside Geneva. What is disc golf? The rules are almost the same as traditional golf but with discs or frisbees. Instead of trying to put a ball in a hole, competitors try to put a disc into a basket. As the tournament was starting on Friday, WRS’s intrepid reporter Alex Helmick tagged along with a group playing the game and even tried his hand.
