Performers align at Basel Tattoo dress rehearsal
It’s one of the biggest dates in Basel’s calendar—a chance for military and civilian drum and pipe bands to show off just how well they can march and play. The Basel Tattoo is the second biggest open-air tattoo in the world, just behind Edinburgh. This year bands from New Zealand, Russia, Japan and the U.S. will try to impress the Basel audience. Reporter Vicky Morgan caught with some of bands as they went through their final rehearsals yesterday:
