WRS’s Susan Flory sits down with Megan Beyer, former journalist and wife of the U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, Donald Beyer, in their official residence in Bern. They discuss how the Beyers first met and Megan’s former career as a journalist. Megan also gives an insider’s view into the diplomatic life and says the Swiss are among the most naturally diplomatic people she’s met:

What a warm, genuine, and bright woman Megan Beyer is…She is the perfect complement to the Ambassador and is an ambassador to the populace, in her own right. The world needs more empowered women like Megan Beyer! She is a great role model.
