Health Matters: Tick risks and treatment
Ticks basically feed and survive off the blood of the animals (or the humans) that they bite. Their bite doesn’t actually hurt so you often don’t even realize that you’ve been bitten by a tick. However, a tick bite can leave you with either Lyme disease or tick-borne meningo-encephalitis. Dr. Michelle Wright talks about ticks and what to do if you’ve been bitten.
