An icon in Switzerland: Marianne Faithfull
Marianne Faithfull is a ‘60s icon, actress, singer and songwriter and ahead of her performances in Switzerland next week—in Zurich on November 16 and Geneva on the 17th—she looks back at her turbulent past, gives her thoughts on Amy Winehouse and reveals the inspiration behind her new album, Easy Come Easy Go. And she begins by explaining to Jennifer Davies why this is new record is a cover album, rather than her own songs.

Marianne Faithfull - just spelling or reading her name is a big emotion for me. Having seen her a lot of times, I still can’t get enough of her shows. Marianne is a very charming, great lady.

My ex husband used to look after her in the record company he was at which was Marianne’s label and I knew her quite well..
