This is the time of year when many expats are preparing to be repatriated back to their home country. The Connectors discuss this tricky business with Melina Hiralal, an intercultural consultant, and discover common themes, such as losing a sense of belonging, identity issues back home and missing expat life:

The team also find out if companies are doing enough to address these points when they repatriate their employees, and if the international experience gained by an employee is valued both back in the work place and among friends. Plus, as Connector Margriet is shortly going to be a repat herself, they get tips and advice to help with “re-entry shock.”
