Foreign Affairs: A difficult post-election road ahead for the EU

Following elections in France and Greece, it looks like a rocky road ahead for the European Union. Voters’ anger against unemployment and austerity measures was heard loud and clear. Host Philippe Mottaz discusses possibilities for the eurozone with panelists Imogen Foulkes, Daniel Warner and Matthew Stevenson:

Dear Philippe Mottaz, I refer to your latest programme where you talk about François Hollande and his ability to speak fluently German. I am afraid you are wrong, he does not speak German at all. You may have confused this by thinking of his potential PM Jean-Marc Ayrault who was once teaching German. Mr Hollande, as a good French politician, does only speak French. Regards, Kurt Lehmann
