Film critic Franziska Oliver has high marks for the new Charlize Theron, Patrick Wilson dramedy Young Adult, about a newly divorced fiction writer who returns home to her small Minnesota hometown looking to rekindle a romance with her now happily married ex-boyfriend, but she’s not sharing the Academy’s love for Oscar-nominated 9/11 film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close starring Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock:
