    <description> Everyone carries the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, which keep breast genes functionally normally. It&amp;#8217;s only when these genes are faulty that you could have a higher chance than average of getting breast cancer. In Angelina Jolie&amp;#8217;s case, her risk of developing breast cancer due to the BRCA1 faulty gene&amp;#8212;was 87 percent.
