Dig It! Turning the U.S. Mission in Geneva greenFriday, 13 August, 2010The U.S. State Department has chosen the U.S. Mission in Geneva as its flagship post for energy and sustainability. A huge amount of work has already been done on effective water usage and solar energy. The Mission has now turned its attentions to the exterior of the building, specifically the gardens. The American Society of Landscape Architects was asked to help bring together a group of landscape architecture students from across the country on a two week assignment working on the project. They received 130 applications and chose ten students, who arrived in Geneva last Monday to start work.
