Dateline CH: Looking at the trade in illegal dogs
Small and rare dogs are usually cheaper if they come from outside Switzerland—from places like Romania. Sellers cater to those who want a trophy dog without the Swiss prices. Often, however, these dogs have social and hereditary problems. The BBC’s Imogen Foulkes talks about the trade in illegal, “foreign” dogs:
