The advantage that the Migros and COOP have, is that they have full control over the Swiss market.Ofcourse, we have Lidl and Aidl but at the end of the day, it is the big two who decide where the competitions stores are located and how many stores they can have. They are in complete control.

Switzerland is not a customer service orientated country. I know that they do not listen to their customers, in fact if you do complain, make a comment, you will find that they have called security. The big two can do what they like and are opportunists. Migros own Denner, I think they sell German beer?

And finally, the Israel Labelling issue. Migros be careful. It doesn’t matter whether you agree with Migros decision or not, Migros should not get involved in sensitive political issues. Where do you draw the line? Every country has a political issue. I do not think it will have a major affect, people will still buy the products they like, but Migros image will now be badly tarnished.
