Consumer Helvetica: How Facebook tracks your 'likes'
If you see an article or some pictures on the Internet that tickle your fancy, you may want to share them with other people. You can now, on a lot of sites, click a “LIKE” button…which posts the article or webpage on your Facebook timeline. When you click that button, you send that information to Facebook. But can you also send the information…without clicking the button. WRS’s Jo Fahy talks to consumer expert Simon Thiriet from Swiss public radio’s Espresso programme:
