Plans for a new Charlie Chaplin Museum in the canton of Vaud are taking shape.
The project’s been stalled for seven years because neighbors of the filmmaker’s former estate in Vevey were opposed.
Backers say they hope to open the museum in 2012.
The project will cost CHF 50 million, some of which will come from by Vevey-based company Nestlé.
