Unemployment figures have taken another positive turn this month, as the jobless percentage dropped from 3.2 percent at the end of March to 3.1 at the end of April.

That means there’s just over 123,000 people in Switzerland without work.

That’s 0.2 percent or 290 people less than at the same time last year.

Amongst young people aged 15 to 24 the unemployment rate was lower than for the general population in April, at just 3 percent.
