UBS still expects robust consumption in Switzerland in 2011.

That’s despite a dip in its November consumption index after business activity in the retail sector worsened.

UBS economists attribute an increased consumption level to strong immigration, low interest rates and declining unemployment next year.

They predict a consumption growth rate of 1.7 percent for 2011.
